When you choose to stay at our Hall or one of our holiday cottages at the Talhenbont Hall Country Estate near Pwllheli, Snowdonia you are not just choosing accommodation in great surroundings, you are choosing an experience, somewhere you can make memories, relax, and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The Hall and cottages are nestled in the heart of the Estate, with views at every angle, there is always something to see and more to discover which is why we have so many returning happy guests year on year.
We’re idyllically positioned only two miles from the sandy beaches of the Llyn Peninsula and a further few miles from the mountains and attractions in Snowdonia. We’re extremely lucky to have some of North Wales most beautiful restaurants and wine bars, which makes Talhenbont Hall Country Estate the perfect place for your 2021 UK staycation North Wales.
In addition to the main Hall which can sleep 10 guests, we have an additional 5 beautiful cottages which can sleep between 4 – 10 guests depending on your choice of property and availability.
Built in 1607 the Hall is simply stunning; the main Hall has an exceptionally large lounge with large open fireplace. There are two large Chesterfield sofas and two Chesterfield armchairs to sink in to at the end of the day. There is also a large dining room for you and your friends to enjoy dinner during your stay with us.
More than one hundred years old and formerly the Stables, boasting a beautiful terrace which extends across the rear to give excellent views of the woodlands and the river.
The property provides spacious comfortable accommodation and has a wealth of beams and an inglenook fireplace.
A charming stone-built cottage more than 500 years old. Situated within the Grounds overlooking the Woodlands. Extensively beamed with interior dressed stone walls and well-appointed throughout.
Situated adjacent to the Hall, overlooking the Courtyard and Stables. A comfortable Cottage with an open fireplace.
The Hunting Lodge
A wonderful stone-built detached lodge situated behind the walled entrance gates to the Estate and surrounded by woodlands and countryside. Extensively beamed and with interior dressed stone.
A charming stone-built cottage, 500 years old and offering ground floor accommodation with some internal steps. The cottage has a wealth of beams, internal dressed stone walls and double-glazed latticed windows.
